The next meeting of the Story County Amateur Radio Club will be at 7:30 pm, Thursday, February 3, 2011, at the 4-H building on the southwest corner of 13th Street and Stange Road in Ames.
The program for the February SCARC meeting will be "A Trip to Moscow: WRTC 2010" presented by Skip, AD0H.

The program for the January SCARC meeting will be on the history of the W0YL/R repeater including planning, construction, installation, and maintenance. The program will be presented by W0DP and KI0Q.
The December 2010 SCARC meeting will be December 2, 7:30pm. The location will be the PowerFilm Solar factory located west of Ames. The address is: 1287 XE Place, Ames. The program will be by Pat Rundall, N0HR, VP of Operations at PowerFilm. It will include an overview of ham radio applications of solar power and a tour of the factory to show how their thin-film solar products are produced.
