The Story County Amateur Radio Club (SCARC) will meet on Thursday, October 4, 2018. Clint Miller, K0GR, will provide a presentation on using cross-band repeaters for emergency communications.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in North Conference Room A on the first floor of Mary Greeley Medical Center. Parking is available near the MGMC northeast entrance. The meeting is free and open to the public.

The Story County Amateur Radio Club is hosting a field operating event during the 2018 Iowa QSO Party on September 15th from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the shelter at Lloyd Kurtz Park located at the corner of Bloomington and Hyde in north Ames.
