The Des Moines club can use some help with the State Fair Parade: KC0FRL Writes:

...It is August 6th. Still need lots of help. If you can make it, let me know. Some positions start around 4:30 PM and are done around 8:00 PM. Some positions start around 6:00 PM and are done later than 8:00 PM. Can't give a specific time, as it depends on when the Parade ends. The next meeting for Story County Amateur Radio Club will be at 7:30 pm, Thursday, September 4, 2008, at the 4-H building on the southwest corner of 13th Street and Stange Road in Ames. A map showing the location is available here. CyRide's Blue route runs past the building. The program will be announced later. Note: There is no August meeting.
